DE_Ahmad Anwari und Yosufi Nagip, zwei Schneider, die aus Kabul nach Deutschland emigriert sind, haben für Moira Zoitl einen Anzug genäht. Alle Umstände der Anfertigung dieses Anzugs spiegeln den Vorgang der Auswanderung – über die Herr Anwari berichtet. Zurückhaltend begleitet die Kamera die Herstellung vom ersten Moment des Maßnehmens bis zur letzten Anprobe. Das Schneidern des Anzugs erscheint als Analogie zum Reisen: Das Vermessen des Körpers spiegelt das Durchmessen der Distanz zwischen Heimat und Reiseziel. Das Zuschneiden des Stoffes steht für den Aufbruch, und das stückweise Vernähen und Verbinden der Teile weist auf die Annäherung ans Reiseziel.
 
EN_Ahmad Anwari and Yosufi Nagip, two tailors who emigrated to Germany from Kabul, sewed a suit for Moira Zoitl. All the circumstances surrounding the manufacture of the suit mirror the pro­cess of emigration, which Mr. Anwari talks about. Cautiously, the camera follows the production from the first instance of measurement-taking until the last fitting. The tailoring of the suit appears as an analogy to traveling: the measuring of the body mirrors figuring out the distance between home and destination. The cutting of the fabric symbolizes the departure, and the piece-by-piece sewing and connection of the parts represents the approach of the destination.
